About me

Hello, I am Jord de Boer (25) and live in Enkhuizen. In January 2023 I proudly completed my education at the Osteopathy College Sutherland in Amsterdam.

Osteopathy for me is more than a profession – it is my passion. I get enormous satisfaction from helping people. The moment when someone walks out the door free of complaints and full of energy again, gives me an enormous drive every time.

Osteopathy what does it involve?

When the body gets out of balance – due to illness, stress, an injury or unhealthy habits – the body needs help to recover. Osteopathy helps the body support that natural recovery process and address symptoms at their core.

What does an osteopath do?

Osteopathy is a form of treatment in which complaints are remedied with the hands by restoring the mobility of the body’s structures. As an osteopath, I examine the cause of your complaints. I then remedy these complaints by relaxing, loosening and freeing the structures causing the complaints.

Reduced mobility causes physical complaints

The possible complaints

  • Pain and stiffness in the back, neck, shoulder, hip and extremities
  • Whiplash and related post-traumatic complaints
  • Gastrointestinal complaints (including stomach pain, heartburn, constipation, spastic colon)
  • Chronic bladder or renal pelvic inflammation
  • Complaints from scar tissue after (abdominal) surgery
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Voice complaints and voice problems
  • Menstrual disorders
  • Sports injuries that are difficult or impossible to treat with other methods
  • Jaw problems
  • Combined chronic complaints
  • And more.
